Stay in School Mentoring Project Mentee Selection
School counselors are asked to identify students that they believe would benefit from a participating in mentoring relationship. The counselors explain to the identified students what it means to have a mentor and how the mentor can help them. Students must agree to participate and their parents/guardians must also give their permission for the student to meet weekly with their adult mentor.
