Airborne Pollen Monitoring
Returns to Las Vegas

Airborne pollen is a health concern for many residents in Clark County. Regular monitoring and reporting of airborne pollen concentrations can help sensitive individuals prepare for or avoid exposure. Clark County discontinued monitoring of pollen in 2010 due to budget constraints. However, the Clark County School District (CCSD) and UNLV collaborated in 2013 to re-establish a pollen monitoring program. UNLV has established a certified pollen monitoring station on campus, with more sites to be added at CCSD schools. Mr. Hongbin Jin and Ms. Tanviben Patel are certified by the National Allergy Bureau as pollen and mold counters. Select the links for news reports and daily pollen and mold spore counts.
