This year students at Liberty High School created posters about an environmental health issue and imagined an invention that could solve the problem. Liberty's health teacher, Mrs. Donnelly wanted the students to connect to current environmental health issues by implementing various teaching strategies. During the project, students highlighted three tasks or habits that people could implement in their daily lives that could make a difference in environmental health. Students then created inventions that could fix the environmental problem. This project asked students to think, comprehend, and synthesize the information. Afterwards, the students were able to apply the information into their own lives. Take a look at some of the posters! |
