Summer Fun Learning Activities

The Clark County School District provides parents and guardians with “Summer Fun Learning Activities,” resources which will help students to continue the learning process during the summer in fun and interesting ways.

According to Superintendent Walt Rulffes, “Education is a job much larger than schools can handle alone. Research has repeatedly shown that parents are the single greatest factor in determining a child’s success in school.”

Families with students enrolled at CCSD schools receive mailers with activities geared toward the students' most recent grade level in school. The materials provide a variety of grade-appropriate activities, especially in math and reading, for parents and guardians to share with their children during summer vacation.
