How to Guide
Click a topic to reveal the information. To hide it, click the topic again.
Search by City
When you access the Growth Model website, click the icon on the left labeled "Search."
This will give you the option to search by school, city, or district.
Choose city.
In the box that displays, type the city name you desire to see.
The Growth Model website will display the district to which that city belongs (not the city itself).

Searching by District
If you already know the district you need, you're also able to search by District. Click on the icon labeled "Search" and it brings up this screen. Choose "Search by District."
Type the district you want into the search box and it will display any matching returns. Select the district and click "View performance."
All the schools in that district will appear in the Growth Model for you to explore.

Searching by School
To find a specific school, click the "Select" icon at the front page and, when prompted, click "Search by School."
Choose your preferred school from the results shown below. Then, click the "View performance" button.
Your selected school will be highlighted among the bubbles in the Growth Model.
While here, you can compare the progress of different schools around the valley. For example, this picture shows the comparison between Mannion Middle School and Burkholder Middle School.
Sometimes with so many schools, it becomes difficult to access data for the schools we have selected. Fortunately, in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, you can filter either by Elementary School or Middle School. By unchecking the box that says "Elementary Schools..."
We can now clearly see the Middle Schools for comparison.

Sorting Information
The Growth Model website allows you to sort the information it provides into several different categories. 
Once you search for and select a school, it will remain blue while all the other schools in the district become gray. If you hover over the selected school with your cursor, a menu will appear.
By clicking the box labeled "View by," you can sort the information into three different categories: Ethnicity, Grade, and Student Group.
The screen will then show the results sorted in whichever category you chose. In this case, it was by Grade.
