Annual safety event serves as important reminder to community

Parents and students joined forces with representatives from CCSD, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and Clark County School District Police Department on Aug. 20, 2012, to remind families and the community about safe practices around schools. William V. Wright Elementary School students demonstrated how to safely use crosswalks, the importance of obeying traffic laws and how to behave properly on a school bus.
