Superintendent and trustees volunteer as crossing guards on first day of school year

To put the spotlight on traffic and pedestrian safety, CCSD Superintendent Dwight D. Jones welcomed students back to class on Aug. 27, 2012 by donning a green vest and volunteering as a crossing guard at C.C. Ronnow Elementary School. Joining him were Trustees Lorraine Alderman and Deanna Wright, along with Ronnow ES Principal Chris Popek. Also represented at the morning event were CCSD's Safe Routes to School and local organization Look Out Kids About.
