Vegas PBS celebrates the arts in summer programming

After the successful launch of the PBS Arts Fall Festival, PBS and Vegas PBS continue their commitment to increasing access and participation in the arts with the launch of the PBS Arts Summer Festival. The series kicks off Friday, June 29, 2012 and continues each Friday through Aug. 10. Programs will feature artists and performances from seven different communities around the country with a focus on the diversity of arts and its global reach. In addition, Vegas PBS is broadcasting short video segments following each national airing highlighting local arts and entertainment acts including a new Vegas PBS Arts Showcase compilation special at the conclusion of the series.
