Internet Safety Town Hall set for Oct. 17 @ GVHS

Facebook and the Nevada Attorney General's office present an Internet Safety Town Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Green Valley High School.  It will be an interactive discussion for parents, students and school administrators to show how to be safe when using Facebook. Topics to be discussed include how to report, prevent and diffuse instances of bullying and cyber predators; legal consequences of bullying; Facebook privacy settings and age restrictions; and how to use these tools for better protection.
