CCSD observes "Take Daughters & Sons to Work Day" May 10

It's time again for the annual Take Our Daughters And Sons to Work Day in Clark County. The event is nationally scheduled for April 26, but because of the CRT testing schedule, the school district will celebrate the occasion on May 10, 2012. This special day is part of a national public education program that uses the materials that children learn in the classroom and applies them to the working world. If parents plan to take their children out of school to participate in this day, they must fill out and return a pre-arranged absence form for their child and return it to the school office. Also, proof of participation must  be documented on the letterhead of the company the child visits and returned to school attendance offices no later than Monday, May 14, 2012.
