CIS Academy program expands to Chaparral HS

As reported by KVVU-TV, the Changing Lives Community Fund donated a joint award of $125,000 to Communities in Schools of Nevada (CISN) and Teach for America Las Vegas. The funds, donated on July 30, 2012, will allow for the expansion of the CIS Academy program to Chaparral High School during the 2012-2013 school year. KVVU says CISN will work with Teach For America educators to implement the CIS academy curriculum at Chaparral.
