Young adult authors to be featured at book festival

The Vegas Valley Book Festival will host one of the region’s largest gatherings of young adult authors Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 from 10-5 at the Historic Fifth Street School in downtown Las Vegas. More than 30 authors of young adult fiction will participate in panel discussions, readings and conversations.  A special feature of the young adult program this year is the school visits project, which will send an expected 21 authors into 32 local schools. The young adult program is aimed at audiences 12-18 years of age.
