Moapa Valley children attend summer science program
About a dozen Moapa Valley children took part in the Enhanced Academic Growth and Leadership Education (EAGLE) Summer Science program during June 2012 at the Moapa Educational Support Center on the Paiute Indian Reservation. The three-week program assists students in grades three through five who need help in mathematics, science, and literacy. According to the Moapa Valley Progress, the program is funded through CCSD’s Equity and Diversity Education Department, with additional support from the Moapa Band of Paiutes.
