"Trustees Teach" initiative under way

During the summer break, CCSD trustees are spending some quality time with students outside the classroom. As reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Trustees Linda Young and Lorraine Alderman attended the Self Esteem and Etiquette Workshop held by Brand New Horizon on July 17, 2012.  It was the first event of the school district's new initiative, “Trustees Teach:  Education Through Exploration.” Other trustees also are engaging in similar outreach activities prior to the start of school on Aug. 27, 2012.
