Trustees Young and Alderman launch "Education Through Exploration"

Clark County Board of School Trustees President Dr. Linda Young and Trustee Lorraine Alderman kicked off the “Trustees Teach:  Education Through Exploration” initiative on July 16, 2012. They joined Brand New Horizon and Penny for Thought's Summer Empowerment Workshop to mentor girls ages 10 to 18 from at-risk backgrounds about the importance of education and building life skills. The trustees discussed self-empowerment and delivered motivational messages to the attendees.
