CCSD invites applications for School Board vacancy

The Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of Trustees announced the vacancy in the position of District E Trustee to be filled by appointment by the remaining members of the Board. The appointee shall serve for the remainder of the unexpired term which began on Jan. 5, 2009. No candidate who is currently running for the office of District E Trustee may apply for this appointment. As of July 13, 2012, the applicant must have been a resident of District E for at least 30 days and be a registered voter in District E. A map of District E is available on www.ccsd.net. Original, signed applications must be received in the School Board office by 4 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2012.  Faxed copies will not be accepted. All applicants will be publicly interviewed by the Board of Trustees at an open meeting on Thursday, July 19, 2012, beginning at 2 p.m. at the CCSD Administrative Center, 5100 West Sahara Avenue, Room 466, Las Vegas.
