The Clark County School District is the fifth-largest school district in the nation, with over 300,000 students in more than 340 schools. There are over 33,000 employees in the Clark County School District, including over 4,000 substitute teachers.
Substitute guest teachers and support staff paraprofessionals are a very important part of the Clark County School District work force, and make it possible for schools to carry out the educational program in the absence of the regular education professional.
