•Participate in the existing outreach programs including those
currently offered by Clark County Business Development,
the Nevada Minority Council Business Council, and International
Supply Management (ISM).
•Initiate reporting on spending patterns.
•Establish Supplier Outreach Committee, Goals & Objectives.
•Create a “Doing Business with CCSD” webpage.
2005-06
•Actively interact and establish a CCSD presence at local chambers
of commerce and professional organizations including Clark County Business
Development activities and ISM events.
•Coordinate outreach activities and represent the District at outreach
events.
•Update supplier database to improve MWDBE reporting capabilities.
•Report and analyze District’s annual spend. Make report
available via website.
2006-07
•Transition supplier database to new enterprise system.
•Continue to update supplier database.
•Continue activity with the local chambers of commerce and professional
organizations.
•Establish training programs, brochures, and/or guidelines as needed
to ensure access and knowledge on how to do business with the District.
•Report and analyze District’s annual spend.
2007-08
•Continue active participation with various local chambers of commerce
and professional organizations.
•Research the need for the District to sponsor a countywide outreach
event.
•Expand spend reporting to include self-certifying firms as well
as firms that have been certified by regionally accepted certification
agencies.
•Draft new five-year plan
2008-09
•Continue active participation with various local chambers of commerce
and professional organizations
•Research the need and value of the District becoming a certifying
agency.
•Expand spend reporting to include different certification levels.
•Report and analyze District’s annual spend.
