Substitute Teacher Application process
Welcome to Substitute Services Department. If you are applying for a substitute teaching position with the Clark County School District, please follow the directions below to proceed. The requirements along with the application process have been outlined for your convenience.
Substitute Teachers are required by Nevada Law to obtain a Nevada Substitute Teaching License.To qualify to be a substitute teacher a minimum of 60 college credit hours is required. See link below.
Step 1: Interest Form
Please click on the Interest Form button below and follow subsequent directions.
After the Interest Form is reviewed, you will be notified within two business days via email of your status. If your interest form is accepted, you will receive a PASSWORD in order to proceed to Step 2.
If you have already been given a PASSWORD, please go directly to Step 2.
Step 2: Application Form
The Application Form is only accessible after submission of an Interest Form and receipt of an assigned PASSWORD.
Please click on the Application button below and follow subsequent directions.
Within the application, PLEASE provide the e-mail addresses and fax numbers of your references to help expedite the application process.
Upon completing the application, press the "Final Submit" button on the bottom of the online form. Print a copy of your online application, sign it and bring it with you to your SCHEDULED INTERVIEW along with your ORIGINAL TRANSCRIPTS.
Step 3: Application Status
Enter your User ID and Password to review your Application Status.
Please respond to any status messages as soon as possible.
Before a final employment decision can be made on your application, all required information must be completed.
