IAS Accredited Building Department with certified ICC Inspectors and plan examiners provides all plan review and code compliance inspections for the District's new and modernization construction projects. Oversees all plan review and work of in-house construction projects to assure code compliance. Accomplishes extended contract administration services on new school projects. Operates under NRS 393.110, in which the Board of Trustees shall establish a building department for the school district.

The mission of the Building Department is to protect the health, safety and welfare of the students, faculty, and employees of the Clark County School District and the general public.
