"Love Your Veggies" grant program

The Love Your Veggies grant program will award grants to elementary schools (K-6) across the United States in support of programs that help provide students with increased access to and consumption of fresh, healthy foods. The program will award ten grants of $15,000 each. Each grant
award will support an elementary school in developing a program offering fresh vegetables and fruits throughout the 2009-10 school year. The deadline to apply is Nov. 7, 2008.
