Tips for motorists during CCSD summer vacation

Summer vacation is under way for thousands of nine-month students in CCSD. The School Community Partnership Office offers the following reminders for motorists:
• Do not speed.
• Children are outside at all hours of the day, so drive slowly when children may be out and about.
• Pedestrians have the right-of-way in a crosswalk.
• Come to a complete stop and look for pedestrians before you make a right turn on a red light.
• Put down the cellular phone and pay attention to driving.
