18 area schools to receive $30,000 in new books

Spread the Word Nevada, a nonprofit children’s literacy organization, is the recipient of 1,992 books valued at $30,000 from the local chapter of First Book. These new books will be distributed among the 18 elementary schools adopted by Kids to Kids, a flagship program of Spread the Word Nevada.
