Kudos to East CTA, Virtual HS and LVA

Three Superintendent's Schools were recognized for their efforts in the first annual Three Square High School Food Drive. East Career & Technical Academy was the 1st place winner in Category B (for schools with fewer than 1500 students) for donating nearly 3,300 pounds of food. Virtual High School placed second in the B category. Las Vegas Academy placed first in the A category for larger high schools and also won $2000 for "the most creative way to have students donate canned food." The dozen high schools that participated in the food drive collected 50,121 pounds of food that will feed 39,000 families.
