Title 1 funding

Title 1 provides federal funding for schools to help students at risk of falling behind or who are behind academically. Funding is based on the number of low-income children in a school, generally those eligible for the free lunch program. Title 1 is intended to supplement, not replace, state and district funds. Schools receiving Title 1 money involve parents in deciding how these funds are spent. For more information regarding Title 1 and CCSD click here.
