Mayors' Prayer Breakfast

Community leaders and Clark County high school students light diversity candles during the annual Mayors' Prayer Breakfast. This year more than 300 local high school students joined with mayors and community leaders to help celebrate diversity in our community.

Winners of Poetry Out Loud

Congratulations to this year's Poetry Out Loud winners! Placing first, second and third are (left to right) Kimberly Goss, College of Southern Nevada High School West; Isabelle Bellinghausen, Green Valley High School; and Avion Phillips, Shadow Ridge High School. Kimberly will represent Clark County in the state Poetry Out Loud competition in Reno, Nevada on Saturday, March 13, 2010. This year's competition had the largest number of participants, 31.
