Mission Statement

The mission of the Southeast Region of the Clark County District is to provide a results oriented educational system in which all educators and students (with parent and family support) will be held accountable for improving student academic achievement through high-quality teaching, learning, and leadership. Schools will be held accountable for demonstrating progress toward meeting district specified goals in four major areas: achievement, access/equity, school improvement, shool-home relations.

Southeast Region Accountability Report

Accountability reports contain detailed information about schools in the Clark County School District, as well as charter schools. Annual reports are prepared in compliance with the federal No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) and Nevada Revised Statute (NRS) 385. Accountability reports are used by teachers and administrators as they develop academic plans to increase achievement of all students.

Southeast Region Center Concept

The Southeast Region Center Concept increases parent/community involvement by bringing decision making geographically closer to the schools within the region. The Southeast Region expands this concept with a variety of opportunities in which parents can communicate and contact appropriate personnel - email, written correspondence, telephone, and face to face during general meetings and/or scheduled meetings or conferences. Schools and the Region utilize the Southeast Region Customer Service Feedback cards to solicit and garner community input on stakeholder communication.

All elementary schools have an active parent volunteer program. Secondary schools in the Southeast Region have Parent Advisory Committees (PACs) and Edline / In-Touch web-based systems for parents to monitor their children. It is also an expectation that elementary schools provide weekly or biweekly progress reports to keep parents informed of student progress.
