*The Algebra and Math Applications courses require class attendance one day per week from 8:00AM to 2:30PM for approximately 8 weeks. The Algebra portion of the class will count for one credit and the Math Applications course will count for 1/2 credit. Both classes are designed to help students study for the NHSPE.

*Computer Applications does count for Computer Literacy credit.
1) IC3 coursework details instruction in three core computer areas: Computer Fundamentals, Living on Line, and Key Computer Applications.
2) Students must have access to a Windows XP Operating System.

Once students complete the coursework and earn 1⁄/2 credit toward their diploma. The IC3 Certification demonstrates computer proficiency for students out in the workforce, utilizing computer skills within their job description.**Word Processing semester I and II both count for Computer Literacy credit.

1) Word Processing semester I earns 1 credit and details curriculum instruction for Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint.
2) Word Processing semester II earns 1 credit and details instruction for Microsoft Office Excel and Access.
3) Students must have access to a Windows XP Operating System. 

Once students complete the coursework and earn 2 credits toward their diploma, students can test and pass certification in any one of the four different Microsoft Office programs; Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Access. More information on the MOS certifications through Microsoft can be found on their web site.  Microsoft Certified Professional and Office Specialist Exams

All homework, notes, and class assignments must be written by hand by the student taking the course. NO computer generated, typed, or machine-copied work will be accepted at any site.
 

FEES
A CASH ONLY $100 book deposit fee is required and refundable at the end of the student's enrollment period, when the book is returned in reusable condition.
