Standard Student Attire Survey Choice Sheet Results

A survey for parent/family input on Standard Student Attire was sent home with all students on December 17, 2007.

The results of the returned choice surveys are:

  • Basic colors: Khaki, Navy, White
  • Optional colors: Light Blue, Light Gray, Black
  • No denim or blue jeans.
  • Pants/shorts, skirts/skorts, jumpers/dresses in basic colors.
  • Shirts/blouses with collars, long or short sleeve with or without logo.
  • Sweaters in basic colors, solid only (no pattern or words) with or without school logo.
  • Ties in basic colors, solids or patterns (no words) are permitted.
  • All clothing must be sized to fit- no oversized clothing.

Thank you for your participation in determining our Standard Student Attire options.


Last year the families and community participated in determining that we would become as school with Standard Student Attire (SSA) this school year. Research has shown that SSA (or student uniforms) increase focus and achievement while decreasing behavioral disruption of instruction. Our students proudly wear the following:
Pants, shorts, skorts (with shorts worn under) in navy blue or black (NO DENIM)
Shirts with a collar in either short or long sleeves in light blue or light gray.
