Mission Statement

The Ruthe Deskin Community is dedicated to facilitating a safe, respectful, positive

environment that promotes academic excellence, social success and encourages

students to become responsible citizens and creative, confident life-long learners.

Student Safety Before and After School

Students are not allowed on the school's playground until 8:50 in the morning.

There is no adult supervision on the playground before 8:50.

Students need to be picked up when school is dismissed.

There is no adult supervision after 3:31 on the playground after school.

Since the safety of our students and your child is both our goals,

the SafeKey program is available before school if you have to bring your child early

and after school if your child needs to stay late.

Spirit Day is on Fridays

Every Friday is Spirit Day at Ruthe Deskin. Your child may participate by wearing a

blue and red T-Shirt (Deskin school colors) or a Deskin School T-Shirt on Friday.
