What services do counselors provide?
The counselors are available throughout the day to meet the needs of students. We encourage your child to come buy if he/she is new to our school, has academic, organizational, personal, peer, career or family concerns. We are also available for information or referrals for community counseling. |

How does my child contact a counselor?
Contact forms for the counselor’s are in the front office. The student completes a simple form and places it in the counselor’s mail holder on their door. The counselor will send a pass for your child to come to the counseling office. Counselors have an “open door policy” for urgent concerns. |
What recognition programs are in place?
Every month we recognize Students of the Month with a luncheon. Each quarter we celebrate students who earn Straight “A’s” in academics and Straight “O’s” in citizenship as well as A/B Honor Roll students. |

Counseling Department
Our Counseling Office is for the benefit of every student in the school. Each counselor will assist students with educational planning, interpretation of test scores, career information, home school, social concerns, or any questions the students feel they would like to discuss. Students can trust that their conferences will remain confidential. Your child's counselor is here to help guide your student through the social and academic growth experiences in junior high. |
