What is G-Squared?

Garside's G-Squared. after school program provides learning opportunities as well as recreational activities for Garside students. The classes/activities run Monday through Thursday from 2:30 until 4:30. Students must show up on time and provide their own transportation home. Students are offered a variety of classes to sign-up for, such as theater, science, multimedia, homework helpers, music, choir, tennis, scrap booking, hip-hop dance, art and more. Students at Garside who sign-up for G-Squared say, "It's fun, it's FREE, and we get a snack."

G-Squared started off with a bang! More than 400 Garside students enrolled in the after school program this first session. The program is offered Monday-Thursday from 2:15-4:30 and also provides a morning session from 6:45-7:30. Students who have 80% attendance for the rest of the session will be able to participate in the mystery field trip and a pizza party. Around campus you will see students practicing their hip hop dance to "Money in the bank" , working on their flexibility with yoga and pilates, making intricate paper airplanes, or making tacos, ice cream, or organic pizza. If you have missed out on the fun, you may sign up for the G-Squared second session, which starts March 24, 2008.
