Chalk on the WalkFriday, October 24, 2008Chalk on the walk is an annual art exhibit created by the entire Gilbert school community. Students are given the opportunity to let their creativity flow through brightly colored chalk. Each student is given approximately a three-foot square to create in. The only direction they are given is to fill the square with color. Some choose to do realistic drawings, some add words and some are completely abstract. Even teachers and parents come out to participate in the event. The squares come together to create a large display of creativity that covers a great portion of our blacktop for all to enjoy!(Click each thumbnail
