Gilbert Select ChoirFourth and Fifth grade students at Gilbert have the opportunity to audition and perform with Gilbert's Select Ensemble, a choral group combining singing, instrument playing and movement.The Gilbert Select Ensemble Choir performs at the annual Gilbert Winter Matinee Performances and at the Gilbert Spring Matinee Performances held in the Gilbert Magnet School Eshelman Theatre. The Gilbert Magnet School Choir also performs at the annual Clark County Elementary Schools Choir Festival at Hamm Hall at UNLV, as well as various other choir festivals and special events held in Las Vegas. The Gilbert Magnet School Choir is directed by Kay Lehto, our Music Specialist.2008 Superintendent's Region Music FestivalThe Gilbert Choir performed at the Superintendent's Region Music Festival on Friday, April 25, 2008. The festival was held at Gilbert's Eshelman Theatre with six schools in the region participating.
