Studio

newstud3.JPG (79819 bytes)Our school is equipped with a television studio utilizing the most recent developments in digital production techniques. Students use experiences in the studio to improve oral and written communication skills while learning the many facets of television production. Reading is improved as students move through the television curriculum.  A feature of this program is Gilbert’s Super 6 School News which airs daily. It is created, hosted and produced by Gilbert students, with each grade level having some part to call their own. These broadcasts focus not only on events newstud2.JPG (77348 bytes)happening in our school but also integrate all areas of the curriculum. They are viewed live in every classroom via the school’s internal TV channel, thus providing a daily means of communicating and sharing information.
