Budget Cuts Meeting
Due to all of the budget cuts that are going to continue to come for the 2009-2010 school year, Ms. Coloma will be holding an informational meeting for parents on Wednesday, October 29, at 9:15 a.m. to outline the district's plan to make these cuts. Parent input will also be solicited and then shared by Ms. Coloma to the Superintendent's office. This input will, in turn, be used to help the district determine what budget cuts will ultimately be made. The District will also be holding two Town Hall meetings to discuss the budget cuts:
November 18: 6:00 P.M. Western HS
November 19: 6:00 P.M. Chaparral HS

PTA Cookie Dough Fundraiser Pick Up

Please pick up any items ordered from the fundraiser on Wed., Nov. 26 between 3 and 6 PM in the multipurpose room.  This is the only opportunity to pick up your items at the school!  That includes Track 4!  There is no facility to store unclaimed orders, so if you don't pick up your items on that day, you will have to go across town to the Cookie Dough Man's location to get your order.

Book Fair is returning to Glen Taylor…November 20-December 5…
As in the past, the book fair is being held in our library, and students will have time to shop before school from 8:30-8:50am.  “Muffins in the Morning” (accompanied by an adult please) will be offered November 26th and December 3rd beginning at 8:00am.  Please keep an eye out for details.  It’s always nice to see our parents’ faces.

Attention Photographers – Yearbook Information…

Glen Taylor is going digital!  Our yearbook will be created digitally this year.  If you’ve been taking pictures at various school events & activities, we want them for possible yearbook publication.  Please email your photos to Kristin Cenname at tayloryearbook@gmail.com.

Young Shoppers Club…’tis the Season…

This little shopping experience is returning to Glen Taylor.  Visit Room 78 November 24th & 26th for Tracks 1, 2, 3 & 5 and December 1st & 2nd for Track 4.  In the peak of the holiday season, this is a great opportunity for the children to shop on their own to choose something small and special for loved ones, whether it is for family, friends or even their teachers.
