Get Involved with Your School!
Please join us in our efforts to provide an exciting and rewarding middle school experience for your children by volunteering your time, energy and talents at Carroll M. Johnston Middle School. Whether chaperoning a dance, helping with the school newsletter or assisting in fund raising, your time and involvement can make a real difference. Please take a moment and click the link below where you can print and fill out a Parent Volunteer Form. Return the completed form to the office and become an important part of your child's success!
Serve on a School Committee
The following is a list of school wide committees. Please consider donating your time to one of these worthwhile efforts. If interested, please let us know!
Library/Media Committee - This committee reviews library books and textbooks when concerns are expressed. Two parents at each school are chosen to serve on this committee.
School Generated Funds/Budget Committee - One parent serves on this committee at each school to help determine fund expenditures.
School Safety Committee - A parent is selected to work with this committee to help develop and implement a school safety plan.
Learning Improvement Team (LIT) -The Learning Improvement Team, with two positions for parents, develops a school improvement plan, designed to increase student learning, which is coordinated with the Professional Development Center and the Academic Council.
Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) - as a member you will have the opportunity of working directly with the principal in helping shape the future of Carroll M. Johnston Middle School.
