Monday:
Make a choice to develop good posture habits
- Standing
straight and tall shows your self confidence.
- Sitting
with good posture is the mannerly way.
- Good
posture is healthy for you spine, breathing system, etc.
Tuesday:
Proper exercise improves health and
character stamina.
- Proper exercise
is good for the mind and body.
- Exercise reduces
the risk of heart and lung problems.
- When exercising
daily, more physical and emotional strength is a result.
Wednesday:
Choose
to set goals--both short and long term.
- An example of a
short term goal could be to decide to make better grades or exercise
more.
- An example of a
long term goal could be to graduate from high school.
- A lifetime goal
could be to live and keep good character and a good reputation.
Thursday:
Make
a choice to enjoy and improve at least one of your hobbies.
- If you
participate in basketball (or any sport) practice more.
- If you play the
piano (or any instrument) practice
more.
- If you enjoy
working with your hands (building, sewing, etc.), find an adult to help
you learn and do more.
Friday:
Good
character is found in good literature--make a choice to READ more.
- Read different
kiinds of factual, but interesting books (for example, autobiographies,
biographies, true accounts of historical events, etc.)
- Investigate the
daily newspaper and look for "good news".
- Go to a library
on a regular basis.
