Magnet & Career and Technical Academies
Magnet Schools and Career & Technical Academies (CTA) offer coursework associated with a variety of pathways leading to both careers and opportunities for higher education, such as aerospace and aviation, biomedical and environmental sciences, International Baccalaureate, information technologies, performing and fine arts, communications, law preparatory, health services, police and fire public services, travel and tourism, veterinary and medical sciences, computer animation, and engineering. Students from across the district may apply to Magnet Schools and Career & Technical Academies.

Open Enrollment Schools
Open Enrollment provides parents of CCSD students with another choice. Schools with available seats will be advertised for the purpose of allowing parents/guardians of students who do not reside in the attendance zones to express interest in enrolling their child(ren) there. If the interest in seats exceeds the number available, a random lottery will be conducted. Transportation is not provided for students selected to attend schools through CCSD's Open Enrollment.
