Estes McDoniel Elementary - An International School
Mr. Estes McDoniel
Estes McDoniel Elementary School was constructed in 1986 and named after Mr. Estes McDoniel, a distinguished educator with the Clark County School District and political figure.  Mr. McDoniel was born in Arkansas in 1919.  He eventually moved to Nevada where he became a school teacher, administrator, and Mayor of the City of Henderson.  Sadly, Mr. McDoniel passed away spring 2007. He will be missed and we will forever be proud of what he stood for. The community of Estes McDoniel Elementary School will carry on his legacy of honesty and fairness.

Currently, our school builds the future of more than 650 students in grades kindergarten through grade five.  Estes McDoniel is also home to the
Estes McDoniel Marine Lab that students from all over the Clark County School District are welcome to visit.

The
Marine Lab was made possible through donations from Clark County, Estes McDoniel families, Estes McDoniel PTA, private donations, corporate donations, and The Andre Agassi Foundation.
