Library Policies
Circulation
• Students
must have a current Monaco ID with them to check-out
books.
• Students
may check out a maximum of 3 books.
• Books are
checked out for a period of 3 weeks.
• Students
with fines/overdue books may not check-out.
• Students
are given a receipt with the book title and due date at
the time of check-out.
• Reference
material is restricted to use in the library only.
Fines/Damaged Books
• Students
will be charged $.10 per day for books that are
overdue.
• Damaged
books will be assessed a fine based on the extent of
the damage. Students who return books that are damaged
beyond repair will be responsible for the replacement
cost of the book.
• Students
who lose books are responsible for the replacement cost
of the book.
• All library
materials must be returned before the last day of
school or the material will be marked as lost and the
student will be charged for the material.
• All Fines
and charges remain on the students records until
resolved.
Computer Use
• Students MUST have a
signed AUP on file as required by the Clark County
School District.
• Library
computers are to be used for educational research ONLY
during school hours. During any additional time
available before or after school computers may be used
for recreation.
