Library Policies


Circulation

Students must have a current Monaco ID with them to check-out books.
Students may check out a maximum of 3 books.
Books are checked out for a period of 3 weeks.
Students with fines/overdue books may not check-out.
Students are given a receipt with the book title and due date at the time of check-out.
Reference material is restricted to use in the library only.

Fines/Damaged Books

Students will be charged $.10 per day for books that are overdue.
Damaged books will be assessed a fine based on the extent of the damage. Students who return books that are damaged beyond repair will be responsible for the replacement cost of the book.
Students who lose books are responsible for the replacement cost of the book.
All library materials must be returned before the last day of school or the material will be marked as lost and the student will be charged for the material.
All Fines and charges remain on the students records until resolved.

Computer Use

Students MUST have a signed AUP on file as required by the Clark County School District.
Library computers are to be used for educational research ONLY during school hours. During any additional time available before or after school computers may be used for recreation.
