Announcing Advocacy

Valley High School is implementing an Advocacy Program, the mission of which is to meet the students of Valley High School at their level of need. Students will attend weekly advocacy periods led by teachers and administrators and supported by the counselors. Weekly lessons have been developed by the\advocacy committee to provide students with personalized guidance, promote life skills, study skills and career education. It was the intent of the advocacy committee to provide a flexible, grade appropriate mentor curriculum. The lessons are scheduled to provide consistency within the academic year and also the academic career of the students at Valley High School. We, as the administration and staff of VHS, are very excited about this program and know it will have a positive impact on our students.
