Weapons Detection System
The Clark County School District (the District) is making significant technology upgrades to safety with the deployment of weapons detection systems (WDS) for large-scale sporting events and student arrival screenings. The WDS will replace the use of hand-held metal detectors which will significantly decrease wait times by allowing groups of individuals to be screened simultaneously while moving through the entrance.
