Superintendent Selection Search

This page was created to keep our community informed during the process of finding the next Superintendent of Schools for the Clark County School District (CCSD) and to ensure that opportunities for community input are available to all stakeholders.

As part of this process, the Board of Trustees approved a contract with Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates on June 13, 2024, to lead the search. The firm has worked closely with the Board to conduct a thorough and comprehensive selection process. The Board of Trustees is in the final stages of its Superintendent search, with the selection scheduled for March 13, 2025.

FOCUS GROUP INFORMATION

HYA is conducting focus groups to provide the Board with insight regarding the strengths of the district, challenges that need to be addressed, and desired leadership attributes for the next Superintendent of CCSD. Together, the survey, focus group information, and district data provide valuable information for the development of the Leadership Profile for recruitment and Board selection. Invitations to 32 different Focus Group Sessions have been emailed to students, parents, licensed staff, support professionals, school police, administrators, elected officials, chambers of commerce, higher education, special interest groups, community organizations, and education collaborators.
