Ramona Esparza-Stoffregan was appointed to the Clark County School District Board of Trustees in November 2023. As a former student and educator in the Clark County School District, she understands the successes and challenges of being in the fifth-largest school district. She was a teacher and a site-based and central administrator in CCSD for almost three decades. She is committed to improving the working conditions and learning environment for students, staff, and families to thrive as a community.



She is an experienced Leadership Advocate, Coach, and Consultant with demonstrated results and a history of working in educational advocacy and leadership transformation policy and processes. Her skill assets are in doing the following: Collaboration Solutions, Systems and Design Thinking, Coaching and Mentoring Leaders, Universal Learning Designs, Transformational Leadership, Data Analysis, and Outcomes-Based Strategic Planning. In 2018, she co-founded the Nevada Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents (NVALAS) and serves as President on the Executive Board. She mentors, coaches, and builds support networks for current and aspiring leaders.

Her philosophy of lifelong learning is infectious, and she has been an advocate who believes “educating others with an empowerment mindset and self-efficacy beliefs cultivates Changemakers among us.” She loves to read, travel, spend time with her family and friends to break bread and find joy in those moments.
