Article 11-10 of the Negotiated Agreement between the Clark County School District (CCSD) and the Education Support Employees Association (ESEA) allows for a reimbursement for unused sick leave for employees who have completed at least ten (10) years of service with the CCSD, and who apply to receive retirement benefits from PERS. This payment is paid out once a year, and it is paid in February following the school year in which the employee retired. Eligible Support Staff retirees will receive correspondence from the Benefits Office in January following the school year in which the employee retired; advising them of the reimbursement. Attached to the correspondence will be a W-9 form. Upon receipt of the completed W-9 form, the reimbursement is processed by the Benefits Office and is mailed directly to the retiree.
