Lorraine Alderman
A resident of Clark County for more than 50 years, Lorraine Alderman was elected to represent District D in 2010. A proud graduate of Valley High School, she received both her Bachelor of Arts degree in history and her Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. A career educator, Alderman began working with students as an admissions officer at UNLV. She then spent 25 years serving the families of Southern Nevada as a social studies teacher, school administrator, and director of the Department of Education Options and the Office for Charter Schools. Passionate about addressing the needs of all children, Alderman has dedicated her life to helping students become their very best. Lorraine and her husband, Jim Testa, have been married for 23 years; have one son and one grandson, both CCSD students.
