Nevada State Seal of Biliteracy
The 2015 Nevada Legislature passed AB 166 to establish a State Seal of Biliteracy Program. The Clark County School District participated in the program for the first time in the spring of 2016 and awarded 403 students the State Seal of Biliteracy in six different languages. The office of World Languages in the Instructional Design and Professional Learning anticipates an increase in applicants and recipients for the 2017 graduating class.
