It is the mission of the Education Services Division to provide our students with the essential skills, attitudes, and integrity necessary to become successful, responsible citizens.
The Education Services Division provides instruction and related services for over 50,000 students; many of whom have experienced challenges in comprehensive academic environments. The unique needs of these students require ongoing evaluation and the development of curriculum and innovative instructional programs. One of the departments within Education Services Division that school administrators work hand-in-hand with is the Department of Pupil Personnel Services, which oversees the student behavioral referral process and student attendance enforcement.
Students are hereby informed that they will be subject to search when they enter campus after the beginning of the school day. This includes, but is not limited to, unauthorized returns. This notice does not exclude personnel, however, from searching a student at any time should there be reasonable suspicion of wrongdoing.
CCSD is inviting all members of the community - including students, employees, families, and community members - to share their voices and help shape the District’s future through the Destination District Survey, open November 7–26, 2025.
